Meet Our Team
Steven Kjellberg
Steven Kjellberg is the President of KJ Construction, Inc. He graduated from Bryant College in 1998 and later moved to Raleigh, N.C. There, he worked as a superintendent and continues to oversee additions, renovations, and high-end new construction projects. Steven is hands-on and intimately involved in all stages of the construction process. He is supported by his wife Julie, son Axel, and daughter Tess. In his free time, Steven enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time at the beach.

Craig Holloway
Craig Holloway joined KJ Construction as the Operations Director in 2022 after a 31-year career with Ferguson Enterprises. He worked closely with Steven during his time at Ferguson and enjoys bringing his expertise to the residential building process at KJ Construction.
Axel Kjellberg
Axel Kjellberg, son of Steven Kjellberg, is the second generation of KJ Construction. Having been exposed to the construction industry his entire life, he feels lucky to have grown up in the industry. Axel loves being a part of something he helped create.
Griffin Jefferies
Griffin Jefferies is a superintendent who worked summers for KJ Construction. He has a passion for working with his hands and creating a quality product. Griffin graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in construction management. His hobbies include joining local sports clubs, exploring new places, and creating memories with friends and family.
